Who is Karl Williams?

Renowned singer-songwriter and musician Karl Williams has made a significant mark in the music industry, having toured alongside Maverick Sabre and collaborated with the iconic Snoop Dogg.

Karl started to make his mark in music with his first song created with Grammy award-winning music producer Scott Storch titled Te Queiro.

Karl then went on to do two songs with Young Buck from 50 cent’s G Unit. His latest single that he produced and featured on was with Snoop Dogg titled Blessings. 

Karl extends his artistic prowess beyond music as he has also ventured into the world of modeling, having been featured for the acclaimed clothing brand Gabicci.

Karl’s life took an unexpected turn when he found himself arrested during a holiday in Dubai, leading to the compelling narrative depicted in his book, Killing Time. This gripping account chronicles his harrowing experience of being unjustly imprisoned in one of Dubai's most notorious correctional facilities.

The impact of Karl’s story goes beyond the written word, as the BBC has transformed it into a compelling five-part mini-series titled ‘High - Surviving a Dubai Drug Bust.’

Premiering on BBC Three and iPlayer on February 19th, 2024, this mini-series sheds light on the challenges and resilience Williams displayed during his ordeal.
